该系统中燃气/空气比的调节由零压阀实现。当风机风量改变时，燃料/空气比也可以改变，以满足RCO催化燃烧器的燃烧要求。起动时，通过调节输出变频器的频率，就能达到点火时要求的从有焰燃烧到催化燃烧的燃/空比的变化。

燃烧器温度调节可以通过文本显示器的键盘输入，改变变频器的输出信号频率，调节适当的风量。当风量变大，燃烧温度不能超过设定值，则PLC控制变频器降低输出频率，减少出风量来稳定燃烧器的温度。

如果变频器输出频率低于设定值，出口风量仍高于设定值，PLC开始计时；如果在一定时间内降至设定值，则PLC放弃计时，继续变频调速运行；如果在一定时间内温度仍然高于设定值，PLC将继续调整，直到达到设定值。由PLC经PID运算后控制变频器的频率输出；如温度不够，则频率上升，延时保持一定时间。
